BuycatVPN is available as a mobile, and web-based application. The mobile apps — including versions for smartphones, Android TV, and Apple TV — can be downloaded from official app stores such as Google Play Store and Apple App Store (collectively referred to as the "App"). We also offer a web-based interface and proxy browser extensions (the "Web-App") for popular browsers like Google Chrome, Brave, and Mozilla Firefox on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices. All of our applications (mobile, TV, and Web-App) are designed to protect your online privacy and security. Some features below are on our roadmap and will be released in the near future.

3. What Information We Collect

Account Information

To use our App or Web-App, you must create a BuycatVPN account. This account serves as your identity for accessing our services. When you sign up, we ask for and store the following information ("stored data"):

Name — Your name (as provided)
Email Address — A valid email (used for account login and communication)
Password — Chosen by you (stored in encrypted form)
Payment Method — Details necessary to process your subscription payment

No additional personal information is collected or stored at signup beyond these items.

Support and Service Usage Data

During your use of our service and for customer support purposes, we collect a minimal amount of connection-related information. Importantly, we design our systems to avoid collecting sensitive usage data. Specifically, we may note:

Connection Date (Day) — We record the date you connect (for support and network optimization) but not the exact time of day you connect.
ISP and Server Regions — We may log your Internet Service Provider's name and general server location/routing (to help troubleshoot connectivity issues) but not your personal IP address or precise location.
Connection Duration — We may note how long a VPN session lasts (e.g. in minutes or hours) but we do NOT log the specific timestamps of when you connect or disconnect.
General Usage Metrics — We monitor high-level usage statistics (such as whether an account connected on a given day) but we do NOT monitor or record any specific browsing activities or content of your traffic.

App Improvement Data

To improve our application and service quality, we collect some non-identifiable information, including:

Software Analytics & Statistics — Aggregated performance data about app usage, crash reports, feature use frequency, etc.
User Communications — Feedback from emails, live chat conversations, and feedback forms that you choose to send us.

None of the data listed above (whether for support or improvement) can be used to personally identify you or track your browsing behavior. We collect only the minimum information needed to operate our service and support our users.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not store any logs or records that could identify what you do online or expose your internet activity. Our systems are built from the ground up to ensure we have no sensitive data to share, even if we were legally compelled to do so. Specifically, BuycatVPN does NOT collect or log any of the following:

Your browsing activity (the websites you visit, searches, or anything you do online through the VPN)
VPN session logs that tie to you (e.g. no connection logs that could link your account to an IP address)
VPN server IP assignments (we do not keep records of which VPN IP you are assigned when connected)
Your original IP address (the IP from which you access our service is not stored)
Connection timestamps (no logging of the exact times you connect or disconnect)
Browsing history or specific content accessed via the VPN
DNS queries made by you while connected (we do not monitor your DNS requests)
Outgoing traffic or data content that you transmit through the VPN tunnel

In summary, when you use BuycatVPN, your online activities are invisible to us — we can't see or record what you do. Our processes and servers are engineered not to retain any of the above information.

Note: If you choose to enable certain optional features (like a Tracker and Ad Blocker) during a VPN session, our system will need to scan the domains being contacted in order to block trackers/ads. In those cases, the domains of blocked trackers/ads may be momentarily visible to us during your active session. However, this information is not stored on our systems (see Section 5 below for more details on this feature).

5. Use of Stored Data

The limited information we do collect (as described in Section 3) is used to provide and enhance our services. We process this information for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To provide, operate, and maintain the BuycatVPN service (for example, using your email/credentials to authenticate you and your payment info to process subscriptions).
