This policy applies to boycat.io and its subdomains. It covers cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) used on the website itself. It does not cover the VPN app or browser extension.

What We Use
Authentication session
NecessaryWhen you sign in to your BuycatVPN account on the website, a session token is stored in your browser to keep you logged in. This is cleared when you sign out or when the session expires.
Theme preference
NecessaryIf you select light or dark mode, that preference is stored locally in your browser so we can apply it on your next visit. No personal data is involved.
Checkout & payment state
NecessaryDuring checkout, session storage is used to hold your selected plan and any active promotion code. This is cleared when you complete or abandon the checkout. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) and never touch our servers.
What We Don't Use
- Advertising cookies: We do not use Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising pixel or retargeting cookie on boycat.io.
- Analytics cookies: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools that track individual user behaviour across the site.
- Cross-site tracking: We do not share any cookie or identifier with third-party advertising networks.
- Fingerprinting: We do not use browser fingerprinting techniques to identify or track you.
Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Since we only use cookies that are necessary for the site to function, blocking them may affect your ability to stay signed in or complete a purchase.
If you clear cookies, you will be signed out of your account on the website and will need to sign in again. Your VPN subscription and app settings are stored separately on our servers and on your devices. They are not cookie-based and are not affected.
